The Continental Series has the industry's LARGEST sewing space available on any household-use machine. With 13 ½” of workspace, a total work area of 17.81”, more than 3” in the needle/needle plate section, and Bright white LED lighting to illuminate your sewing space with shadow-free coverage, your sewing capacity will improve all around. With an added extension table of 26.77” X 15.75”, you’ll have even more workspace. Threading couldn’t be easier! Set your thread, push the lever on the left side, release and sew! This time saving feature allows you to get sewing faster. Its advanced design feeds the thread through the eye of the needle with precise accuracy every time. The streamlined machine head provides excellent visibility around the needle area.

Fabric Feeding System

Janome AcuFeed™ Layered Fabric Feeding System has long been legendary in the sewing and quilting world for its amazing precision and power. Janome has taken it to the next level with the AcuFeed™ Flex Plus. The system is still removable but, adding and removing it from the machine has become more advanced - simply touch the AcuFeed icon on your screen to engage or disengage the foot. This ensures that the AcuFeed Flex foot is attached correctly and prevents it from becoming disengaged prematurely. AcuFeed™ Flex comes in three useful options. The two-pronged AcuFeed™ feet advance fabric flawlessly from the top and bottom. Use this system for quilting, seaming, and traditional sewing. The special one-pronged AcuFeed™ feet give precise control for more detailed work, like installing zippers and matching seams. And, the HP2 AcuFeed Flex foot is designed to work with the HP plate, for the highest level of stitch results.

Use Mirage Stitches to add an interesting design element to your project. These unique stitches offer a satin look in a variety of shapes with spaces between each motif, making the stitches appear to float on the fabric! Janome Mirage Stitches are infinitely customizable with separate tension and stitch length settings for both the hidden connecting jump stitches and the main satin stitch. This effect can be used on either one or two pieces of fabric.
