Choose from 200 stitches. Janome's Memory Craft 9850 offers a broad range of utility, applique, heirloom, quilt, satin, bridge, decorative, long, pictograph, play stitches, and six one-step buttonholes. It also includes one 5.5" x 5.5" hoop but has a maximum embroidery area of 6.7" x 7.9". Choose from 175 built-in designs, or upload your own embroidery files with a USB drive. Embroidery patterns include flowers, animals, geometrics, multiple alphabets, and more. Embroidery formats include .JEF and .JEF+

Built-in Storage

Enjoy the extra storage space in the auxiliary bed of the MC9850. You can keep needles, feet, bobbins, thread, seam rippers, and more. The built-in storage allows you to keep all your sewing accessories secure and makes it easier to transport them.

Free Arm Capability

Besides sewing, quilting, and embroidery, the MC9850 has a free arm for sewing cylindrical items. Remove the bed of the machine to access this feature, and you can sew pants, sleeves, and other circular projects.

LCD Touchscreen

Navigate through all the features of the MC9850 with the LCD full-color touchscreen. Choose your stitches, designs, thread brand, and more from this easy-to-read display. If you ever get your machine into a bind, the MC9850 also offers sewing application support with on-screen help.

One Touch Buttons

Besides the LCD touchscreen, this machine also offers one-touch buttons. Included on your 9850 are six operational buttons: start/stop button, reverse button, auto-lock button, needle up/down button, thread cutter button, and a speed control slider.

7 Point Feed Dog

Janome MC9850 has a 7-piece feed dog system that ensures a consistent, even feed on all fabric types. Whether you are sewing thick or thin fabrics, the 7-piece feed dog will stay in constant contact with the material, ensuring even feeding and clean stitching. If you ever need to lower the feed dogs, that can be done with the flip of a switch on the back of your machine.

Top-loading Bobbin and Bobbin Winder

The MC9850 includes a built-in bobbin winder with a plate and cutting blade. This handy tool makes it easier to swap out your bobbins. The top-loading, full rotary hook bobbin can be accessed with the push of a button on the needle plate.
