Janome America, Inc. warrants this sewing machine for a period of 1 year from date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship. During this period, Janome America, Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace this sewing machine free of charge, exclusive of handling, packaging and shipping charges, if the sewing machine fails to operate due to a defect in material or workmanship. Enclose $9.75 for handling, packaging and return shipping charges. Also provide your name, address and telephone number. We recommend that you insure the package to cover damage during shipping. This sewing machine is warranted only for normal household (non-commercial) use. Non-durable parts including, without limitation, needles, belts, bobbins, bobbin holder, spring, and parts which normally require replacement are specifically excluded from this warranty. This warranty does not cover failures caused by improper maintenance or repair, abuse, normal wear and tear, misuse or events beyond the control of Janome America, Inc. This warranty extends only to the consumer who has originally purchased this product or to a gift recipient as evidenced by proper return of the attached Elna Record Card.

Except as stated above, there are no other warranties, expressed or implied. Janome America, Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages directly or indirectly arising from use or inability to use this product or from any other cause. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the exclusion or limitation may not apply in all cases. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights. The purchaser may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
