Got for making bandanas for a craft show. Really solid a month in, and prefer it to a brother version (1634?) I used before.
This is my second Juki serger and it’s just as good as my first one. Just a few minor improvements over any change, like measurements for seams. My first Juki still works well, we moved and down sized. Grateful the new one holds up to the old ones standards.
Have used serger on material for 3 skirts with pockets and it is fantastic. I had to replace my old Janome (I broke it!). For the price (which was great!). I wasn’t sure about product. I have a workhorse Juki sewing machine, which I Love! I bought my Juki TL2010 Q for quilting. So I gave this serger a try. . I watched a YouTube video from Hands at home because the instructions were small and blurry. She is fantastic, she gives step by step instructions on threading that helped me a great deal. I haven’t done a rolled hem or any of the other extras yet but so far I am well pleased.
Juki first time, every time! You can't beat this machine. It is User friendly, consistent, and accurate. I have yet to replace a juki overlock due to failure in my 30+ years of sewing. I usually donate my old ones to new sewers just so i can buy myself a brand new one. I can run this machine all day 5 days a week.
I love this machine. I sewed many years in clothing factories using a serger. I was very familiar with Juki and it was my choice when I decided to purchase. It was definitely the best decision for me. It's quite, reasonably fast and no vibration. Beautiful stitches and easy to thread. I definitely recommend this machine
