Color Touchscreen

Find the right stitch or embroidery design and optimize the thread tension by using the 5-inch color touch screen, which is optimally positioned in the center of the machine. Or quickly change the stich length or width or position your embroidery design via the multi-function knobs. Bright and Spacious Work Area

You won't be left in the dark with the four bright LEDs lighting up the sewing area, which offers you 230 mm of space right of the needle. The slide-on freearm extension table gives you extra space and comfort for large sewing or quilting projects.

Decorative and Quilting Stitches for Magical Embellishments

Of course, you can hem and zigzag stitch with the b79, sew stretchy t-shirt fabrics and even choose between 17 buttonholes. But there is much more than just the utility stitches: create truly exiting embellishments with 133 decorative and 35 quilting stitches. You want to modify included stitches or create your own ones? Everything is possible with the Stitch Designer. Your individual stitch settings are temporarily saved, and you can store them in your personal memory for future projects.

Tie-off Function and Automatic Thread Cutter

With the automatic tie-off function you no longer have to stitch backwards to prevent the seam from unravelling. Simply press the tie-off button at the end of the seam. Next, the automatic thread cutter button, the threads are cut, and your seam is finished! You want it even faster? Program these functions for your foot control with back-kick function – tap your heel once, the seam is automatically finished, and the threads cut off!

Convenience Features

With the semi-automatic needle threader threading is a breeze – the presser foot is automatically lowered to the correct position and the additional thread cutter holds the thread in place. The knee lever for raising or lowering the presser foot will make your sewing even more comfortable, as your hands are free to guide the fabric. And the easy-to-engage, integrated Dual Feed makes sure that all kinds of materials are evenly fed from above and below.

Embroidery Hoop Detection

With three hoops included, it is easy to find the right hoop for each size of your embroidery designs. You can embroider motifs with up to 260 x 160 mm without re-hooping. The hoops are easy to open and close with a quick release system. The automatic hoop detection ensures that you see the defined embroidery area of each hoop on the touch screen, so you can optimally adapt your embroidery design.

Creative Possibilities with Embroidery Designs

With 208 embroidery designs and 7 embroidery alphabets installed, a wide selection of motifs is at your fingertips. The motifs can be edited on the touch screen, so you can easily rotate, flip, or combine design elements. The b79 is compatible with most embroidery design formats – no need to convert files in a software program anymore.

Stitch Plate Detection

With the 7 mm stitch plate, you can sew beautiful decorative stitches with a stitch width of up to 7 mm. Also, the straight stitch plate comes as standard accessory with the b79 – for impeccable embroidery results. Seam Guide Right

This useful seam guide makes sewing parallel seams at even intervals really simple. The reliable feed guide provides optimal support for sewing and hemming. So even difficult sewing projects can be fin-ished cleanly and professionally. Simply secure the seam guide to the aperture on the presser foot holder – and you can start your next sewing project right away. When you use this invaluable accessory with your bernette sewing machine you will be amazed by the high level of comfort as you sew and quilt. The seam limit stop accessory is also ideal for creating regular patchwork patterns and seams. Precise, straight seams virtually create themselves.

The large embroidery hoop is an indispensable tool for creating large and detailed embroidery patterns. It has a maximum embroidery surface of 16.0 × 26.0 cm and provides enough space for larger, complex motif designs on home textiles and clothing. The template (included) ensures the precise positioning of the embroidery project inside the embroidery hoop. Simple and also complicated embroidery projects can thus be created in a flash.

Embroidery Hoop M

This embroidery hoop is ideal for medium-sized embroidery projects. It has a maximum em-broidery surface of 12.0 × 18.0 cm and provides enough space for interesting embroidery patterns and motif designs on home textiles and clothing. Thanks to its template, featuring a practical grid, the positioning of embroidery projects is very precisely. Simple and also complicated embroidery projects can thus be created in a flash.

Embroidery Hoop S

This embroidery hoop is ideal for embroidering small motifs. Its embroidery surface is 5.0 x 7.0 cm. The template (included) ensures precise positioning of the fabric. This helps you create professional-looking embroidery work. For larger motifs, there are a medium and a large embroidery hoop available.

Extension Table

The extension table allows an existing work surface to be extended and provides a comfortable support unit for larger sewing projects. And the fabric can be moved over it more easily.

Straight Stitch Plate

The Straight stitch plate can be used for straightstitching and embroidery, as well as for CutWork projects. When straight-stitching, perfect stitch formation is achieved by using this stitch plate with a presser foot with a small opening.

Touchscreen Pen

For easy operation of the touchscreen. Using the touchscreen pen helps to keep the screen clean.

Bobbins

Free-Motion Embroidery Foot

The open embroidery sole offers a clear view of the embroidery area. Precise, creative free-motion works such as monogramming and Richelieu embroidery (‘cutwork’) as well as thread painting are simplicity itself with the free-motion embroidery foot. Also ideally suited to outline quilting, or the free-motion quilting of very small details (‘microstippling’).

Hopper Embroidery Foot

The hopper embroidery foot is the perfect choice when it comes to embroidering on pile and bulky fabrics, such as terrycloth. Thanks to the spring mechanism, the optimum pressure is applied to the embroidered material, while at the same time, the movement of the foot compensates for any uneven areas, such as puffy lettering or multilayer quilts, to give beautiful stitching results.

This foot is a true embroidery expert. The oval, slightly bent shape of the foot facilitates the stitch movement. This ensures a solid and proper stitch formation.

A true pro in terms of embroidering and embellishing, the Embroidery Foot is ideal for sewing satin stitches, appliqués and decorative stitches.

Blindstitch Foot for Dual Feed

This foot is most suitable to sew blindhems or to topstitch edges. The stitches only pierce the hem so that the stitch holes are hardly visible on the right side of the fabric. The blindstitch foot for Dual Feed is provided with a recess on the back side of the presser foot to activate the integrated Dual Feed. This allows an even feed of “sticky” materials.

Zipper Foot for Dual Feed

Due to the narrow shape, zippers in various versions can be sewn in easily. The fabric is fed evenly while you can sew along the coils very closely. The zipper foot for Dual Feed is provided with a recess on the back side of the presser foot to activate the integrated Dual Feed. This allows an even feed of several fabric layers and “sticky” materials such as leather or plastic.

Overlock Foot for Dual Feed

The Overlock Foot for Dual Feed facilitates finishing edges professionally and sewing seams similar to overlocking. It is also particularly suitable to create decorative cuffs and seams in the most common knitware fabrics. The Overlock Foot for Dual Feed is provided with a recess on the back side of the presser foot to activate the integrated Dual Feed. This allows an even feed of several fabric layers. Fabric waves will be reduced for elastic fabrics.

Button Sew-On Foot

With this presser foot not only buttons of different sizes can be sewn on but also rings or hooks. The Button sew-on foot provides a slip-resistant sole so that the button cannot slip away.

Buttonhole Foot with Slide

The buttonholes can be sewn easily in different versions and either with or without using cord. Any number of buttonholes can be sewn at exactly the same length.

Zigzag Foot for Dual Feed

The zigzag presser foot for Dual Feed is a true all-rounder and is suitable for all the common sewing works. It is also optimal for special sewing projects.
