Main Features
JUKI Industrial Sewing Machine Technology
The box feed technology moves your fabric to allow you to create perfect high-quality stitches on all types of fabrics. The box feed system stays in contact with your fabrics longer for a consistent, reliable seam every time. Piece perfectly without worries of shifting or sliding fabrics.

Straight Stitch Slide Plate
Simply slide the front lever to switch to a single needle hole. Sew the lightest fabrics with perfect needle permeation. The single needle plate will not allow fabrics to be pushed into the needle hole. Free motion stitch with precision and perfection. Sew with confidence, when the single needle hole plate is set, only the straight stitch patterns can be selected.

Float Function Prevents Uneven Seams
By pressing the float button, you can sew with the presser foot slightly raised. By raising the presser foot to float you can sew fabrics without pushing layers or creating uneven seams. this is effective when quilting and sewing appliques. The height of the presser foot can be set from 0 to 2.5mm in increments of 0.1 mm..

Large Sewing Space
Enjoy extra space and comfort by adding the accessory table while quilting.

Automatic Presser Foot Lifting After Thread Trimming / Presser Foot Pivot Function
Because the presser foot is automatically lifted after automatic thread trimming, you can quickly remove fabrics. And when you stop sewing, the needle stops in the down position and presser foot automatically lifts to allow for fabric movements. Sew corners or pivot with ease, when you resume sewing the presser foot automatically and quickly lowers for continuous smooth sewing.

High quality sewing machine!

I bought a new machine and thought I'd share a review. If you want the features of the machines that cost thousands, you can find them in this machine and it was only $1,599! I've been sewing since I was 13, that's 50+ years and this machine has the most precise feed I have ever seen. It's the easiest and quickest machine to thread of any I've used. And the thread cutter is wonderful. Push a button, both threads are cut and you don't have to hold the thread when you begin sewing again. The operation is incredibly intuitive, especially considering how robust the features and options it has. The stitch quality is perfect, and the machine produces consistently well formed stitches. The foot hovers when you stop or pause sewing, a great feature for quilters like me. You can also program the machine to turn this feature off if you need to.You can program the foot control heel action to do what you want it to. I programed mine to sew a 1/2 stitch but you can program it to cut the thread, sew one complete stitch, raise or lower the foot and others I can't remember right now.The feed dogs function extremely well to move the fabric over seams and variable thicknesses. It makes beautiful button holes that are very easy to do, and perfectly sized by placing the button in the spring loaded holder in the buttonhole foot. Its buttonhole-making features are easy and produce the best buttonholes!I've successfully sewed zippered pouches, 2 tote bags with recessed zipper, also a ByAnnie tote bag with front zipper pocket. I'll use this machine mainly at quilting classes now. It's a wonderful machine and I really should say that this would make a fabulous 'every day' machine.

Happy Wife, happy life

She happy with this so I’m happy. Other then that I don’t have a clue how it works or what it does. Saw a machine in Maui for $23k so only paying $1600 was a bonus to me.

Best sewing machine on the market bar none!

I got this for my wife and she loves this thing. We bought all kinds of machines before, but this does everything you could ever want it is amazing. I would buy this again in a minute. Really it is not worth buying the cheaper sewing machines, they stall out when you have just a little thickness, but this will sew through your fingers (I am kidding). This never stalls at all, I think you could sew through plywood with this. It really is amazing, sounds wonderful, just keeps going no matter what, and makes it so easy to sew because of all the little things they added with this machine. Just look at the long list of features of this machine and you can see why everyone loves this machine.

Sewing right out of box!

This machine is replacing a 16 year old Elna. I always loved my Elna but it did not have some key features that this one has. I've been sewing away since it arrived with no set up troubles at all. My first real task was making a buttonhole for a Christmas gift! Figured if I could do that, the machine was a winner. I consider myself an intermediate sewer--not a seamstress, but I do a lot of home decor, some upholstery, fun crafts and quick projects, some applique, and am now beginning to quilt a bit. I need a machine that can handle a wide variety of tasks and this one fits the bill. Heavy enough for long drapery or upholstery fabrics but delicate enough for silk or light cottons. So far I am loving the ability to sew and stop without a pressure foot, auto thread cutting, the floating pressure foot is a dream, the quick option for 1/4 inch seams is fantastic, fast changing to a straight stitch throat plate, and the decorative stitch options. I'm looking forward to growing into the features of the machine and learning about the many feet that came with it. Might be a bit much for a beginner, unless they have someone to help them learn the functions, but this machine is fun and easy to use.
