When sewn together, four quarter square triangles (QST) finish to one 4 1/2" square. Cutting precise lines and crisp corners by hand or even with a rotary cutter is difficult and takes time. With this die and your cutter, you can slice neatly through several layers of fabric at once and do the job 90% faster than cutting with a rotary blade.
